What machine plastering is
In machine plastering, the plaster mix is prepared and sprayed onto the walls or ceilings by a plastering machine, then levelled and finished with hand tools. Because the machine mixes the plaster evenly, this method is particularly well suited to larger areas.
We have been carrying out machine plastering for more than five years. We plaster walls and ceilings in private homes, apartments and commercial premises in line with the project requirements.
Plaster types
Gypsum plaster
The most commonly recommended and chosen option for private homes. It suits dry living spaces, and its smooth surface is ready for further finishing. If a harder surface is needed, we suggest stronger mixes.
Lime-cement plaster
Stronger and more tolerant of moisture, so it is often used in damper rooms such as bathrooms, basements and plant rooms.
Clay plaster
A natural plaster, chosen when natural materials are preferred. We have completed projects with it as well.
No single plaster is best everywhere. We choose the mix based on the room’s use, moisture conditions, substrate and planned finish.
Homes, apartments and commercial premises
- Private house. Gypsum plaster is most common in living spaces, with lime-cement mixes in damper rooms.
- Apartment. In an apartment building, material deliveries and the position of the plastering machine need to be planned in advance.
- Commercial premises. On large areas, the work has to be coordinated with other contractors and the overall site schedule.
Before plastering
Before plastering, the electrical and plumbing routes must be completed and the windows installed. If we are installing these systems, we coordinate the sequence of work ourselves.
Send us a floor plan or photos and the approximate area to be plastered – we will prepare a preliminary estimate. Send an enquiry.
